FOR SIGNING THE APPROVAL SHEET OF THE FINAL VERSION - DISSERTATIONS AND THESES
RESOLVE: Art. 1 - Within the scope of UENF, the advanced electronic signatures of members of the examining board on the approval sheet of the final version of the dissertations and theses that they use will be recognized and accepted, with presumption of legality, in accordance with art. 28 of State Decree No. 48.209/2022:
I-ICPEdu certificate, issued to members of the UENF university community with access to the Academic System;
II - Gov.BR electronic signature, issued by the Gov.Br Electronic Signature Portal.
Art.2 - If it is impossible for the board member to sign electronically, the chair of the board will issue a declaration using the SEI system.

Final version approval sheet - Paragraph 2 Art. 2 - "For the delivery of the final version of dissertations and theses, the chair of the committee will issue a declaration using the SEI system containing in the text the expression "I declare that the final version of the dissertation (student's name, level, and title of the dissertation or thesis) was approved by the member(s) (mention the full name of each member) of the committee unable to sign the document". This declaration must be attached to the final printed and/or digital version."
PROCEDURES:
DELIVERY OF COPY OF DISSERTATION/THESIS
THE DEADLINE FOR DELIVERY OF THE FINISHED COPY, ACCORDING TO THE CURRENT REGULATIONS, IS 60 DAYS, WHICH CANNOT BE EXTENDED
PROCEDURES: (for all students who have defended)
1. The student must send, by e-mail to pgbv.secretaria@uenf.br, the final PDF version (single file) and the Word version of their Thesis or Dissertation. A printed version of the final version will not be required, as approved by the members of the PPGBV Coordinating Committee.
2. In the files sent, it is mandatory to include the cataloguing form and the sheet with the names of the members of the board, duly signed (complete file).
3. After collecting the in-person signatures of the board members, the student must organize the complete file of the Thesis/Dissertation (including the catalog and signature sheet) and send it to the evaluators. Please note that the members who participated in person must sign the original sheet, while those who participated remotely will have to include their signature via GOV at a later date.
4- The student, FAPERJ Fellow,In order to submit the Technical Report, please follow the Instructions for Submitting Scholarship Activity Reports via Sis Faperj (website: https://www.faperj.br/?id=100.5.6). The Technical Report, IN PDF FORMAT (maximum file size: 10 Mb), must be sent by the project supervisor/proponent.
5- Students must fill in the whether or not to publish the Thesis/Dissertation through Authorization Form for electronic publication in the UENF Digital Library of Theses and Dissertations and the Authorization Form for publication of Thesis/Dissertation on the PPGBV website and CAPES Database (available below) ;

Under Affiliation: (Author's place of employment): leave blank;
Under Funding Agency: Fill in the type of scholarship awarded. Ex: UENF Scholarship, FAPERJ Scholarship or CAPES Scholarship.
6-REGISTRATION OF THE THESIS/DISSERTATION AT LIBRARY NATIONAL
Registering a thesis or dissertation is a fundamental procedure for ensuring the visibility of the research carried out, as well as providing legal protection for the author. It also contributes to the body of knowledge available to society.

Attention: The Thesis/Dissertation should only be deposited in the National Library after it has been duly authorized on the Program page and registered on the Sucupira Platform, in accordance with the guidelines established for the procedure.
