PROJECT PREPARATION

The dissertation and/or thesis project must be prepared in accordance with the GUIDELINES FOR RESEARCH PROJECT PREPARATION IN PLANT BIOTECHNOLOGY.

PROJECT DEFENSE

1. a) The Project defense must be held by the last instructional week of the second semester of the course after enrollment;
2. b) The defense will take place before an Examination Committee composed of:

• - Master's degree: 2professors/researchers with PhDs;
• - Doctorate: 3 professors/researchers with PhDs;

1. c) The advisor will appoint the members of the committee and act as its chair.

DEFENSE SCHEDULING:

1. a) The defense scheduling must be madeat least 15 days in advance of the scheduled defense date;
2. b) For scheduling, the advisor must email the Program Coordinating Committee with theproject defense scheduling form, filled out with all necessary information;
3. c) The project must be delivered by the student to the members of the Examination Committeeat least 7 days in advance of the scheduled defense date.
